In honor of Meryl Streep winning the Oscar, here’s Part 1 (of 6) of her performance in Charlie Kaufman’s “radio play” Hope Leaves the Theatre. I saw her perform it live with Peter Dinklage and Hope Davis, and it convinced me she really IS the best actress. It’s also the best thing I’ve ever seen performed live.
