This isn’t just (NSFW) DRACULA guest art from @nathanfoxy - we’re offering this diptych as two prints for just $40 as the last official perk for our @kickstarter campaign.  Want them?  Pledge here:  http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/78669939/dracula-son-of-the-dragon In case you are wondering what the meaning of this scene is… When Vlad Dracul - Dracula’s father - sends his sons Vlad Dracula and Radu the Handsome as hostages to the Ottoman Sultan, they are sent along with hundreds of young boys as tribute.  Ripped from their families, these boys will be turned into Janissaries, the Sultan’s shock troops. But among these boys is a Trojan Horse…a girl.  And not just any girl, a vampire.  Vlad Dracul and his fellow members of The Order of the Dragon hope to infect The Ottoman empire with the plague of vampirism. In case you are wondering what the meaning of this scene is…

When Vlad Dracul - Dracula’s father - sends his sons Vlad Dracula and Radu the Handsome as hostages to the Ottoman Sultan, they are sent along with hundreds of young boys as tribute.  Ripped from their families, these boys will be turned into Janissaries, the Sultan’s shock troops.

Richard’s take on Vlad for a pin up! Known Richard for a long time, we started out in the business in toronto together. He’s always been a great colorist, generally talented. Lately i think, his inked renderings have gotten especially sharp it seems. Kicking ass.

I promised I’d release something new when we hit $11,000, and I’ve got more artwork from Salgood & others when we break $12k, $13K and finally hit our goal at $14,000. @Leo_Ferdandez_’s DRACULA: SON OF THE DRAGON pin-up for @salgood and my @kickstarter.  Want a postcard with this and the other guest art on it?  Please pledge here: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/78669939/dracula-son-of-the-dragon Leo is an incredible artist who I’ve wanted to work with since seeing his work on Queen & Country, the best espionage series ever.  He followed that up with, among other things, Punisher Max.  I knew he could do medieval stuff after his work on Northlanders, but this still blew me away. That’s not just a sinister Vlad the Impaler he’s brought to life, that’s an incredible recreation of Poenari Castle - the REAL Castle Dracula where his wife flung herself to her death when she thought Vlad was dead and the Turks would do awful things to her(don’t let them fool you into thinking that Bran Castle). It’s going to be my privilege to have Leo draw my next Image book, but I literally can’t go back to writing that book until DRACULA: SON OF THE DRAGON is funded.   So that’s at least two reasons to pledge and/or share the following link and help me get this book made: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/78669939/dracula-son-of-the-dragon
